Pietro Garinei (February 1, 1919 – May 9, 2006) was an Italian playwright, actor, and songwriter.
Garinei was born at Trieste and graduated in pharmacy. As a journalist of the Corriere dello Sport, he met Sandro Giovannini, with whom he formed a stable duo started with the foundation of the humour newspaper Cantachiaro in 1944, followed by others during World War II.
